The Wildcats are members of the Legends Division. Northwestern rallied from a 17-0 deficit to tie the game at 17-all in the third quarter before ultimately falling to Iowa in Iowa City last Saturday. The Wildcats outgained the Hawkeyes by over 100 yards and had a 29-17 advantage in first downs but a 24-point Iowa outburst in the fourth quarter halted NU’s chance to complete a comeback. After missing the first three games of the season due to injury, senior quarterback Dan Persa leads a Northwestern offense that has averaged 30 points per game since his return. In three games, he has completed 74.5 percent of his passes (73-92) for 700 yards with five touchdowns and two interceptions. Northwestern’s top receiving threat is senior wide receiver Jeremy Ebert. The Biletnikoff Award candidate has caught 39 balls, including a career-high 13 versus Iowa, for 431 yards and six touchdowns, all team bests. Senior tight end Drake Dunsmore (19-178-2 TDs) has also been productive in the passing game. Versatile sophomore Kain Colter also is key to the Northwestern offense. He started at quarterback in place of Persa, passing for 471 yards in three starts, and stands as the team’s leading rusher, totaling 370 yards and two touchdowns. He has also caught nine passes for 121 yards. Linebackers David Nwabuisi (20-28-48) and Bryce McNaul (20-25-45) and safety Brian Peters (22-23-45) are the Wildcats’ top tacklers. Nwabuisi ranks first among NU defenders in tackles for loss with 4.5 while Peters, a Jim Thorpe Award candidate, is tied with Ibrahim Campbell for the team lead in interceptions with two. Up front, Vince Browne and Jack DiNardo, who each have a team-best two sacks, anchor the defensive line. A trio of sophomores headlines the Northwestern special teams. Kicker Jeff Budzien has converted on 3-of-6 on field goal attempts, with a long of 47 yards. Punter Brandon Williams averages 38.3 yards per kick. Returner Venric Mark averages 14.2 yards on punts and 22.3 yards on kickoffs.

PARROT PARKING

The parking lot directly north of the Parrot is no longer available. If you are unable to find a meter spot in the immediate area the following are suggested alternatives:

1. Residents of Fort Lauderdale can get a pass to park on A1A north of Sunrise Blvd for $6.00 per year.
