To kick off the season, we are again hosting the Annual Student Send-Off Picnic. It\u2019s a fun few hours so plan to attend.<\/div>\n

Where: Snyder Park, Pavilion #15 (change from previous years)<\/div>\n

From I-95 take Exit 25 East on State Road 84. Turn right (south) The Park will be on the right.<\/div>\n

Cost: $10 members,\u00a0$20 nonmembers (pay your annual dues at the picnic and pay member price) Children 6 & under are free.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Free for\u00a0incoming freshman and $5 for returning students.<\/div>\n

You will need to pay for parking in the park. There are two kiosks after you enter the park before you veer to the right. Pay at the kiosk and put the receipt on your dash.<\/div>\n

Pavilion 15-turn right, go past main office, take 1st<\/sup> left, at stop sign make a quick right then first left. Straight ahead will be Pavilion 15.\u00a0Our Banner should be hanging.<\/div>\n

RSVP: events@psu-ftlauderdale.com<\/span><\/a> by\u00a0July 29, 2013 so that we have an estimate of the number attending.<\/div>\n

Local alumni will again sponsor the Student Send-Off Picnic. This is a great way for alumni to connect with incoming freshmen, current Penn State students, and other local alumni.\u00a0\u00a0 During the picnic, alumni and current students share their memorable stories with each other and with incoming freshmen.\u00a0 This is a wonderful opportunity for freshmen to ask\u00a0current students or alumni any questions they may have about life at Penn State. This year\u2019s Broward County class is 39 students. \u00a0It is also a chance for incoming freshmen to meet other classmates in the Broward County area.\u00a0Like any picnic, there will be tons of food grilled up for everyone to enjoy.\u00a0This is one of many events hosted by the local chapter that every one of all ages looks forward to attending each year.\u00a0See you there.<\/div>\n

It’s time to pay 2013-2014 dues. \u00a0Membership dues are for the period July 1, 2013 to June 30, 2014.
