Turn right (south) The park will be on the right.<\/strong><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><strong>Cost: $10 members, $20 nonmembers (pay  your annual dues at the picnic and pay member price) Children 6 &amp; under are  free.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Free for\u00a0incoming freshman and $5 for returning  students. <\/strong><\/div>\n<div><strong> <\/strong><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><strong>RSVP: <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"mailto:events@psu-ftlauderdale.com\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">events@psu-ftlauderdale.com<\/span><\/a><\/span> by\u00a0July 25, 2011  so that we have an estimate of the number of attending.<\/strong><\/div>\n<div><strong> <\/strong><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><strong>Local alumni will again sponsor the  Student Send-Off Picnic. This is a great way for alumni to connect with incoming  freshmen, current Penn State students, and other local alumni.\u00a0\u00a0 During the  picnic, alumni and current students share their memorable stories with each  other and with incoming freshmen.\u00a0 This is a wonderful opportunity for freshmen  to ask\u00a0current students or alumni any questions they may have regarding life at  Penn State. This year\u2019s Broward County class is 36 students, the most ever. \u00a0It  is also a chance for incoming freshmen to meet other classmates in the Broward  County area.\u00a0Like any picnic, there will be tons of food grilled up for everyone  to enjoy.\u00a0This is one of many events hosted by the local chapter that everyone  of all ages looks forward to attending each year.\u00a0See you there. <\/strong><\/div>\n<div><strong> <\/strong><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><strong>Please plan to attend to help make this  a very successful event!<\/strong><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><strong>It&#8217;s time to pay 2011-2012 dues.  \u00a0Membership dues are for the period July 1, 2011 to June 30, 2012.
