Football Ticket Auction – Annual Student Scholarship Fund!

9/10/11        ALABAMA        8 tickets available (LIMIT-2 PER BID)
Minimum bid is $125 per ticket ($250 for 2)

11/12/11      NEBRASKA      10 tickets available (LIMIT-2 PER BID)
Minimum bid is $100 per ticket ($200 for 2)

10/08/11      IOWA                2 tickets available
Minimum bid is $75 per ticket ($150 for 2)

Seat Location:
Exact seat location is not yet known for the Alabama and Nebraska games; however seats are part of the Greater Fort Lauderdale’s annual allocation so seats will be with Fort Lauderdale Alumni. These seats have traditionally been located in about Row 50, lower level, North End, usually Section NJ, but there is no guarantee where the seats will be.

The seat location for the Iowa game is Section ND, Row 23, Seats 2 and 4.

Bidding Information:
To bid, send your bid to silentauction@psu-ftlauderdale.com. There is no online bidding for this auction. Bid must be for two tickets.  On Monday, 8/15/11 the highest current bid will be announced, giving bidders an opportunity to submit a higher bid.  The announcement will be posted on the website and on Facebook. Bidding closes midnight Sunday, 8/21/2011.

Bidding is open to 2011/2012 PAID members of the Greater Fort Lauderdale Chapter Penn State Alumni Association.  See “members” section at www.psu-ftlauderdale.com, and dues can be paid online. If membership dues are mailed, it must be received (not postmarked) by Saturday, 8/20/11. Dues are $15 for individuals and $20 for families (there is a $1 surcharge if payment is made via PayPal).

Sealed bids will also be accepted by sending your bid in an envelope to GFLCPSAA, 1613 NE 5th Court, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33301. Indicate on outside of envelope what game the sealed bid is for. Separate envelope required for each game. Membership dues, if mailed, must be in a separate envelope from sealed bid.

There is a possibility (but not for sure) that we can assist with accommodations for the Alabama game. Inquiries can be made to webmaster@psu-ftlauderdale.com.
